Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the concept of autonomy within Rousseau's "Reveries of a Solitary Walker", seeking to explore the formation of formal devices and the structural conditions which allow for the inscription of autonomy in the origins of poetic prose of reverie. This work therefore lies upon the analysis of the trajectory through which a state of reverie develops upon an object of its own philosophical reflection, being in itself a state of pure nature; and upon which forms carry out the criticism of this object. It thus tries to learn the path which made it possible to designate, within the interior of a solitary meditation about the state of pure nature, its exterior: the crisis of society and politics of its time.
