Abstract Semiotics has been broadly discussing the nature of syncretic text, a methodology of analysis for them and has shown the importance of the expression plane studies in these means. This work proposes a reflection about the syncretic text, using as subject of research the animation cinema's text from one of the most well-known companies in the international scenery, the Walt Disney. We have taken four movies that obtained bigger spotlights among other productions from the studios. Three of them, The little mermaid, Beauty and the beast and Aladdin, released respectively in 1989, 1991 and 1992, are all musical blockbusters from the Disney's most successful films generation. The fourth title is Frozen, released in 2013, that seems to retake the musical style and conquers the public in large scale, putting Disney in the spotlight once more. And precisely trough the debate of the notion of style, found in the immanence of the syncretic text, we have reached the objective of identifying the well-known Disney style, using discursive semiotics' analysis' methodology, giving prestige to the expression plane.
