Abstract

The project aims to understand the dynamic characteristics (climatology and variability) of the Brazil-Malvinas Confluence region during the last millennium, in which is not considered the emission of greenhouse gases by humans, only the natural forcings. For that it will be used the data obtained in the simulation of the last millennium by the National Center for Atmospheric Research of USA (NCAR) using the model Comunity Climate System Model version 4 (CCSM4) by Landrum et al. (2013). In this project will be used two high-level applications for data analysis, the NCAR Command Language (NCAR) and Ferret (NOAA). The analysis will be based on the methodology applied by Wainer and Gent (2000).
