Abstract

Working with the idea of crackling ("cracolândia") as a type of itinerant territoriality, so that it's constituted by the users spatial and relational urban dynamics, and recognizing it as a context of large scale urban interventions (with different articulations between public authorities), the aim of this project is, by exploring networks of relationships, interventions and trajectories of some of the actors from an ethnographic perspective, understand and explain how the crack users recognize the public politics, how they deal with it, and, mainly, how they signify two recent projects: "Recomeço" (Stat Government of São Paulo, 05/2013) e "Braços Abertos" (City Council of São Paulo, 01/2014).
