Abstract

The first k0 factors in the k0-standardization method of neutron activation analysis (NAA) were determined during 1980-90 mainly by 2 institutes: The INW at Gent University (Belgium) and the KFKI Atomic Research Institute (Hungary), with the occasional collaboration of a third one (DTU Riso, Denmark) and published in nuclear libraries. Ever since there were some revisions, redeterminations and updates to this core library values but it can be seen from the latest recommended compilation in 2003 (later recompiled in 2012), that some of these k0 factors have been determined only once, approximately 30 years ago and have not been experimentally confirmed under a second metrological analysis, even if these factors have been quoted as candidates for a redermination since 1987. The aim of the work is to redetermine k0-Q0 factors for the nucleus: 47Ca, 49Ca, 47Sc, 75Ge, 77Ge, 122Sb e 124Sb. (AU)
