Abstract

The project aims to investigate the utilization of the "margin of appreciation" in the European and Interamerican Courts of human rights jurisprudence. Its purpose is to analyse the debate about family life in this jurisprudence and possible tensions regarding the notion of public order. Moreover, it seeks to analyse the possibilities of a "comparative human rights law". (AU)
