Abstract

This is a project built from the concern for the living conditions of Bolivians in São Paulo's municipality. The main objective is to identify, analyze and establish relations between the composition of Bolivian's territories in the city, the different housing precarious solutions and the degree in which this contingent is attended by the social policies and public services. The main hypothesis is that the exclusion from the housing's formal market, the attendance by the social policies and the production of the otherness are related with the lack of documentation, the informal working agreements in the sewing's trade - which conditions the precarious housing -, and the differences of habits and culture of these immigrants.
