Abstract

We intend to investigate the way how the french philosopher Jean -Paul Sartre sketches his existential psychoanalysis - present in his magnum opus L'être et le néant (1945) - from the fundamental concept of Nothing,a concept that could , according to the philosopher, "truly transcend realism and idealism". By this purpose, under the horizon of L'Imaginaire's Conclusion (1940) and Carnets de la drôle de Guerre (1939-1940), we will try to evidence the change that the idea of nothing suffers within the sartrean project to its full reasons work in 1943 as well as its use for the démarche of existential psychoanalysis regarding the understanding of desire, lack and the original project (original choice) of the for-itself: therefore, it is urgent to identify from psychoanalysis and existential biography of Jean Genet , this new image of the Sartre's man. More than this, it is necessary to locate the type of theoretical shift caused by the phenomenological ontology of Sartre's thought.
