Abstract

Collaborative work with the Graduate Center City University of New York, from February 2015, aims to continue the work started in January 2014, on the development and use of heuristics in primary school and research on the concept of "mindfulness" and excitement.During the year 2014, after a 2 month internship in this research center, under the supervision of Professor Kenneth Tobin, was proposed the preparation of a book with nine chapters with the aim of discussing the concept of Mindfulness (awareness) in various educational contexts, as part of a collection of Sence Publishers publisher. This material met research performed by the group.The aim of the research stage to be held in February 2015 to present and discuss the work of the Brazilian context on human body and know the other surveys conducted, to deepen the theoretical concepts.Become aware of the diversity of bodies and how to work the subject in the school environment involves developing Mindfulness states. The work done by my research group, with images to develop awareness of the complexity of understanding the human body, shows a real possibility of developing such a state in initial series of teachers in relation to the body theme. In the research stage is intended to study the possibilities of using these images in "heuristics" such as those developed by Powietrzynka (2014). Although the latter are worth up questionnaires that include features in the form of statements, one could think of a heuristic that it relies on images to raise awareness.Thus, in this exchange of information aims to develop methods associated with the development of new heuristics and methodologies on the use of images as objects of reflexivity in educational settings.
