Abstract

In the course of the International Seminar "The poetry of Lina Bardi - a political grammar", the applicant of this BPE recalled in a presentation entitled "Lina poet: the magic lantern in the desert of the pool", unrealized project that developed in co-authorship with Lina Bardi, during the construction of the SESC-Pompeia at the architect invitation. The idea was that he conceived a system that enables the projection in the empty white walls covering the local swimming pool, multiple and sequential images with small cyclic narratives. The function would not only be ornamental, but should also provoke, intrigue and instigate reflections in goers on audiovisual languages, its archeology and present, as an epic of human efforts, his creative transformation in the growing sophistication of imaginary narratives. This request is designed to allow the researcher, in Italy, to feed with informations and images in the available repertoire, between scholars and the archives, the design of this proposal from common ideas between him and Lina. Taking them to the present days, without giving up their origins and expanding them as a living tribute to the Italian-Brazilian architect. The purpose of this research in Italy is therefore to subsidize the production of an audiovisual narrative, a multimedia, as a virtual image of the "Magic Lantern" that include, as a product, the largest project of poetic readings on Lina's political focus in Brazil-Italy link.
