Abstract

The main goal of this research is to provide a morphosyntactic approach to verbal pluractionality in Karitiana language (Arikém family, Tupi branch), following the theoretical framework known as Distributed Morphology. We intend to analyse the morphological processes of reduplication and suppletion, responsible for excluding the singular interpretation from the event denoted by the verbal root.
