Abstract Mathematical modeling of spreading processes have been largely studied on the literature, and its study presented a huge boom on the past few years. It is fundamental task on the understanding and prediction of real epidemics and rumor spreading over a population and are subject to many structural and dynamical constraints. In this project we intend to analyze such processes on the top of multilayer networks, which are a generalization of the complex network and attracted the attention of the scientific community manly on the last five years. Our studies will be addressed following three approaches: (i) analytical, (ii) numerical and (iii) simulations, mainly Monte Carlo simulations. We expect to contribute to the researches in this field, improving the analysis and models of multilayer systems and spreading processes. We also expect to publish our results in international journals of Physics and Computer Science. (AU) | |
