Abstract

The aim is to investigate the existence of reconstruction models in Habermas' critical theory and understand their similarities and differences. It aims to analyze and support the hypothesis that there are at least two reconstruction models in Habermas, the first one in the fundamental concept of work Knowledge and Interest (1968) and the second one in the development of the work Theory of Communicative Action (1981). I try to prove that, despite of many similarities, the concept of reconstruction of the 1960s does not establish like that of 1970 the conditions of possibility of free communication , rather it is limited to the reconstruction of traces of the distorted dialogue.
