Abstract

Abstract: This research project aims to analyze how the hinterland is represented in the novel Nossos ossos, published in 2013 by Marcelino Freire, questioning the transit of characters in the narrative and the subjective dimension of the trip as the structuring plot figure. The starting point for this discussion lies in the fact that the hinterland is resumed recurrently in Brazilian prose of the past twenty years, therefore, the hypothesis here defended, relates to the fact that characters' displacement builds a relationship between time and space, which, in this set of narratives, make the hinterland a space that receives the time of the experience from people whose identities are also shown the road.
