Abstract

This scientific project is to introduce student the Probabilistic Method. Popularized by Paul Erdos, this method proved to be a very useful tool in Discrete Mathematics problems. The student will study coloring problems in finite projective planes, trying to get progresses a conjecture Noga Alon and Zoltan Furedi.
