Abstract The research line "plasmonic devices in Graphene and coupling to photonic waveguides" of the SPEC project aims to excite plasmonic modes from optical modes in waveguides using, for this, metal nanostructures as scatterers (see the projects main text). For the implementation of this line, it is crucial to study metallic nanostructures with different compositions, dimensions and geometry, and to evaluate their efficiency for plasmon excitation. To optimize the distance between such structures and graphene is also crucial. This postdoctoral fellowship work plan aims to address these issues in order to facilitate the success of the research line. Generally speaking, we intend to study, numerically and experimentally, different metallic nanostructures, and their arrangements in order to maximize the coupling between scattered light and plasmonic modes in graphene. For this, work shall be carried out in close proximity, and sometimes in a superimposed manner, with master and doctoral students linked to the project. (AU) | |
