Abstract

This project has as objective the normalization of data from the tests verbal and visual paired associates I and II, logical memory I and II, design memory and visual reproduction I and II from the Wechsler Memory Scale Revised (WMS-R), and the Boston nomination test. It will be evaluated variables such as age, education and gender, in order to normalize scores for the Brazilian population, specifically in the region of Campinas. These tests evaluate aspects of the episodic memory as in codification and delayed evocation, in addition to language in order to better comprehend cognitive functions. The results of this project will be of use for future research, since these tests have not been studied as often in Brazil.
