Abstract

This project aims at conducting field research abroad for a period of 12 months related to our doctoral thesis entitled "THE INFLUENCE OF VISUAL EFFECTS IN NARRATIVE CONSTRUCTION IN SPECTACLES WITH LIVE PROJECTION" contemplated by FAPESP scholarship in the country.The institution chosen to host this stage of our research is the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Barcelona (Facultat Belles Arts - Universitat de Barcelona - UB - Spain), in which we have as supervisor the Prof. Dr. Josep Cerdà i Ferré and as co-tutor the Prof. Dr. Efraín Foglia. The proeminent points in this choice are the existing exchange agreement between the aforementioned universities, the constant exchange of information between research groups GIIP (UNESP - SP) and BRAC (UB - Spain), along with its proximity to the Hangar, one of the largest European centers of research and production technology in visual arts and interactivity.In addition, at this stage we intend to identify and interview, within the Spanish scene, artists who produce digital set design for live spectacles and independent software developers targeted for this purpose, such as the Telenoika group of artists and developers. Seek opportunities to follow and to register creation processes and planning of spectacles with video projection which are produced during the period of our stay, preferably, a musical show, a performative spectacle and a video mapping presentation, the latter wholly or partly performed live .
