Abstract

The main purpose of this Project is to do a accurate and thorough data collection in loco of the excavation reports, together with a analysis of a sample from the material concerning to the documental corpus that is a part of a doctorate project, in progress in Brazil. For this, we organized the following activities: 1) Bibliographical survey at the École française D'Athènes (EFA) and material analyze at the Thasos Museum. Will be analyzed a sample of ceramic material of the Black Figures from the archaic period, properly published at Anne Coulié's work named La Cerámique thasienne à Figures Noires, in 2002. 2) Research traveling to the archeological fields on the island of Thasos and in Argilos, at the Thrace continent, with the intention of getting informations about the landscape and the contexts that will be raised in the bibliography support. The purpose is to register the important areas of the ancient asty, in other words, observe the architecture, sacred areas and of habitation at the Limenas field, in Tasos. Planning of visiting the Phari field, also in the countryside of Thasos, a atelier of the V century b.C. to be analyzed and compared with the atelier from the asty of Limena, both from the same period. 3) Visit to the archeological field of Argilos, another case to be studied on the doctorate. The purpose is to access the ancient city structures dug by the Canadian team since 1992. 4) Visit to the Thessaloniki University for bibliographical survey. 5) Visit to the archeological museums from Thessaloniki and Kavala 6) Visit to the Louvre Museum to contact with the Professor Anne Coulié, specialist in Black Figures from Thasos.
