Abstract

This research wonders as to how to establish the conditions of production of the Biennial of São Paulo throughout his story and what its contemporary setting. Understanding it in the event of quality, periodic and constant, we observe that the Biennale appears aimed effect of the power struggle between actors coming from different social fields and the state, producing the effect in the order of discourse, the legitimacy and the consecration of which is designed by the agents involved in the dispute as good contemporary art in given historical moment. We leave the results in the master's research, about the differential dynamics of social fields grounded from Pierre Bourdieu's theory in order to understand a social production that corresponds to interweave various fields. At the same time, we intend to verify the extent that praxeology has in event analysis, or rather of events submitted to the series of historical processes and successive meetings between different illusiones, aiming to assess their shortcomings and fills in these cases. The Biennial adequately corresponds to this verification procedure given its nature as a social phenomenon eventual character, so investigate it by praxeology is also investigating its theoretical reach.
