Abstract

The research project aims to study the newspaper Folha da Manhã, by the reading of the editions published between 1925 and 1930, focusing the purport in the theme of city/urban representation in journalism. Using the historical analysis methodology of contents and taking as references the theories that problematize the news production, this project shall map and analyze the texts about São Paulo, trying to identify references to the changes, needs,problems and virtues of the metropolis, as well as the approach around the social agents, including journalists. Thus, the final product will be a analytical text out lining the journalistic work of Folha da Manhã, especially on the theme of city/urban. (AU)
