Abstract

This Scientific Initiation research project is themed around housing programs developed by the São Paulo State Government. The research will focus on the allocation of resources for development of housing policy and programs, through its budgetary expenditure, the origin and raising of these funds and results of its application.The research is guided by academic papers related to the theme, and aims to deepen the subject from the perspective of state public policies and management of its budgetary resources. It is proposed to research data on available resources, analyze the use of funds, research primary and secondary data and perform qualified interviews. The research will seek to analyze the territorial location of estate development, families who are benefited by the housing policy, and will reach a conclusion on performance, whether positive or negative, of the public policies and also on the efficiency of resource management.
