Abstract

This research project deals with the spinozana sense of love for God, that the mind and provided the third kind of knowledge in the V part of Éthica book, entitled The Power of Intellect or The Human Freedom. The problem that we aim to investigate relates to the inability to control our being affected by passive conditions and inadequate ideas even by the intellect use.Deleuze asks that while we exist in duration, will be useless to hope that we have only active joys of third gender, or only active affections in general. We will always have passions and sorrows with our passive joys. Our knowledge always pass the common notions and the most we can strive to be proportionally have more joyful passions than sorrow, more active joys of the second genre than passions, and the largest possible number of third gender joys. It's all about proportion feelings that fill our power to be affected: it is to make inadequate ideas and passions only cover the smallest part of ourselves.
