The theoretical and methodological framework will be the complexity paradigm. Data collection in this study with a qualitative approach and research-action method, will be performed by contextualization maps and focus groups with families of children and adolescents. The collected data will be guided by the comprehension and contextualization of the data, according to the following steps: classification and organization of the collected data; organization of referential frames; and establishment of relationships among the data. It is intended to advance knowledge related to violence primary prevention, still latent in the scientific literature, and to sensitize individual and community empowerment as essential for dealing with violent situations with efficiency.
