Abstract

Various processes acted in the path of knowledge / thought that today think of as geographic, geography . Human history shows that at various times the man and his subjective through its foundations and equipment elements for the realization of features that together give substance to thoughts , geographical , in this sense , does not escape the rule. The discursive and written is vast and thus geography becomes " geographies " , the cultural differences , political, philosophical and time of each society makes the apprentice history of geographical thought choice, so that speech, period , school or institution in the trajectory of this knowledge then seek to understand considering that the geographical discourse appears in poems, short stories , stories , music , and especially in science This subproject thus involves three main points , which follow ; . . I : An overview of the production of dissertations and theses on conceptual issues , methodological and historical geography in graduate programs in Brazil . II: Rescue and analyze the programs and lines of research on method / theory and history of geographical thought in post Brazilian graduation III : . . understanding the ways and means that the history of geography is presented in theses and dissertations we believe that through these three plans you can contribute to the understanding of the history of geography in / of Brazil , performing also an overview of patterns and trends in historiography of geography in the contemporary .
