Abstract

This project intends to analyze the aggregation of practices of Heritage Education performed in State of São Paulo, from the survey and mapping developed by Rede Paulista de Educação Patrimonial (Repep). Considering incipiency the theoretical and conceptual debate on the subject and the increscent demand for analytic propositions of the large number of educational practices focused on heritage, this research aims to contribute for improvement discussion. There is, along the years, a broadening of notion of Heritage and a gradual advancement of occupied space by Heritage Education public agency of preservation, however it is still seen as accessory and relegated to last level of patrimonialization, as action of tipping's promotion. If so, the Heritage Education only propagation of information, leaving to problematize the built official memory. However, there is other performance perspective: the heritage can be seen as intermediate and the Education, as dialogic process. With these assumptions, the aim of this research is to trace profiles and characterize the Heritage Education executed in São Paulo's territory, making a general framework for serve as basis, including, to strengthen of public policy in this field and to subsidize future theoretical discussions.
