Abstract

Regarding the Tile Baroque in Brazil (BT in Br), pattern carpet of XVII century and istoriato panel of XVIII century, we can put, as a hypothesis, which interrelates and incorporates artistic and technical languages of different genres: Incorporate the language of architecture by the bond and resizing of space. Is a language of meta-architecture simulation of the language of architecture (moldings, picture frames, false spans, and others). Is a historical design object, the surface design project and serial reproductibility. Is a technical and artistic communication system by incorporating languages and techniques: on the one hand: European pseudo-mosaic; and another: Alicatado mosaic, cuerda dry, champlevé and especially the maiolica, from the Italian Renaissance; It incorporates techniques and painting themes; It articulates with the language of the picture in terms of design, reproducibility and mobility. It is a tele-communication system as it radiates its imagery message by the size and scale land to: Portugal, Azores, Madeira, Brazil to Angola and India (sparingly). If seen from the viewpoints of these mergers and interrelationships, there will need to re-configure, ontological and phenomenological, identities taken as unquestionable. From this problematic and assumptions, it generates a perspective that will require a regressive historical methodology of analysis and interpretation (Bloch; Burke), that incorporates interdisciplinary areas (iconology, semiotics, systemic), (Panofsky, Jacobson; Rosnay) and trans-disciplinaries (art, science and tradition), (Nicolescu).
