Abstract

The objectives of this proposal are to develop a new generation of genetic markers that can capture the diversity of T. gondii for molecular epidemiological and population genetic studies of the parasite and to develop a comprehensive set of genetic markers that will be used to map genomic regions responsible for T. gondii virulence.
