Abstract

The aim of this project is define the combination of additives that decrease the dry mass lost in silage of Guineagrass cut at strategic sward height. The experiment will be performed in Ilha Solteira UNESP during rainfall season of 2016 and Guinegrass will be harvested when the sward height (50, 70, 90, 110, 130 or 150 cm) shows the best fermentation capacity (trial I, FAPESP 2014/10356-0) ). At that time, the grass will be ensiled using or no combined (I) citrus pulp and (II) homo and (III) heterofermenters bacteria evaluating the dry mass loss weighing the experimental silos and determining the dry mass after opening.
