Abstract

The goal of the project is to synthesize and to characterize the CAU-10-H, CAU-10-CH3 and CAU-10-NO2 MOFs and to use as heterogeneous catalysts in the reaction between CO2 and ethylene oxide in order to obtain the corresponding carbonate. In the next step of the work, the ethylene carbonate will be used as precursor material for the obtention of ethyleneglicol by ethoxylation reaction.
