Abstract

This project assumes that aesthetic considerations, in particular, surrealism, were fundamental to Jacques Lacan develop his analyzes of Freud and at the same time, put us through a possibility of same reformulation of philosophy fundamental concepts, such as the notion of object, subject and fantasy. To develop this idea, our proposal is to analyze and detach how the intersection between aesthetic considerations and clinical occurred to Lacan. From this we will try the confirmation that Lacan could reformulate such classical conceptions, in particular the concept of object, inspired by surrealism. We increased emphasis on the concept of object due to the hypothesis that the consequence of its production process was the reformulation of the concept of subject and, consequently, the concept of fantasy. Fantasy, in Lacan's theory, assumed - from the beginning to the end of his elaborations - an equivalence to the subject's relation with the object. We consider that, analyzing the genealogy of the lacanian object in his initial drafting time, we will get to a discussion about contemporary aesthetic theory. (AU)
