Abstract

The research pretends to deepen the study about the existent relations between the Freudian/Lacanian psychoanalysis and the surrealist poetics of cinema, taking the movies An Andalusian Dog (Buñuel, 1928) and The Blood of a Poet (Cocteau, 1930) as the aim of this reflection. More specifically, this investigation will be headed by the called implicated psychoanalysis, a method that searches understand the esthetic experience from the outspread of the implications between the work of art and the subjectivity of the observer/viewer. From this analysis, we could raise new lines of understanding about the poetics of surrealism and its cinema, as well as a question on the participation of psychoanalysis in the comprehension of esthetic phenomena.(AU)
