Abstract

This project aims to examine the renewal of materiality and expansion of electricity generation in the State of São Paulo (Brazil), symmetrical to the system and cogeneration in Sugar and Alcohol Power Plant's. The sugar and ethanol sector takes advantage through the burning of biomass, and the majority of its power plants already contains its own energy source. This action of that sector emerged as a new way to supply the need the energy dependence and taking the almost exclusive oil. The central question posed in this project is the study of admission of the sugar and ethanol sector as a holder main agent of biomass for energy cogeneration. So, we will seek to promote this research through study of Raizen Energia case.
