Evaluation of reproductive parameters of lambari-do-rabo-amarelo (Astyanax altiparanae) subjected at different feeding regimes

Abstract

The aim will be to evaluate the reproductive performance of Lambari-do-rabo-amarelo (Astyanax altiparanae), following different feeding regimes. Will be use 675 fingerlings 1cm and 0.5 g, distributed in 27 cages with volume of 100L, in completely randomized design in a factorial arrangement 3 x 3 to 1%, 3% and 5% of biomass with the feeding frequency of once every two days, once and twice times at day, totaling nine treatments with three replicates. The commercial feed (2 - 3 mm extruded, 32% CP) will be used for 150 days. For males the computerized sperm parameters (MOT, VCL, VAP, VSL, STR, WOB, PROG, BCF) using free software ImageJ/plugin CASA and sperm morphology, survival, concentration and semen volume will be evaluated. For the females, the percentage of spawning females, fertilization rates, hatching rates, diameter of oocytes and relative fecundity will be evaluated. These parameters are subjected to analysis of variance factorial (p <0.05) in case of effect will be submitted to mean comparison analysis using the Tukey test (p <0.05).
