Abstract

This research aims to study Brazilian Cinematheque's policies of dissemination dedicated to education film and appreciation of the audiovisual heritage, in particular the program "Cine-Educação" and the website "Banco de Conteúdos Culturais". The goal is to analyze how the dissemination policies are formulated and understood by the administrators of Brazilian Cinematheque and how effective they are in practice. In addition, we propose to identify, describe and analyze the recovery process of the audiovisual collection in order to understand how "Cine-Educação" and the website "Banco de Conteúdos Culturais" aid in the discovery of political history, social and cultural of the country. To this end, we seek to examine the literature on the Brazilian Cinematheque and audiovisual heritage, as well as official administrative documents.
