Abstract

In this project we will synthesize 2-ariloxazoline derivatives using as a starting material aromatic hydroxy-carboxylic acids and the amino acid (L)-threonine. The prepared compounds will be tested to see their biological potential, their fluorescent properties and application in the synthesis of complex ligands. The fluorescent labeled molecules have their parameters studied to verify possible applications, such as biological biomarkers or optical sensors.
