Objective is to evaluate nutritional and management strategies that allowincrease nitrogen utilization efficiency and consequently raise the performance supplemented cattle in pastures. Two experiments will be conducted in APTA, Polo High Mogiana, Hill-SP. The treatments consist of two factors in factorial 2 x 2, as follows: Exp1 (dry phase): non-protein nitrogen source (urea and urea encapsulated) and supplementation time (7:00 and 13:00) and Exp 2 (Phase waters) true protein source (soybean meal and Soypass®) with and without plant extract (Cinnagar®). The grass will be used to Brachiaria cv. Palisade. performance and feeding behavior the owner? will be held in 20 paddocks3 ha, each with 6 animals. In addition, 4 pickets will be used for evaluation and ruminal metabolism parameters, three Latin square (3Latin squares 4X4). The areas and animals are the same in both experiments. The grazing method is the continuous stocking with variable stocking rate. Will be assessed: nutritional value of forage, weight gain, feeding behavior, food consumption and supplementation, ruminal fermentation, microbial protein production, the nitrogen use efficiency. Statistical analyzes will be performed using SAS software 9.2 (SAS, 2008).
