Abstract

The current project aim is to go deeper in the study of traditional knowledge of Mapiko masks, a trait of Mozambique's culture. Therefore it wishes to further the reflection about the liminality and the perception of the actor/dancer/performer investigating the process of masking on Mapiko’s tradition. It aims to produce a source of material that will feed and support the field of an intangible culture, provided by a series of cultural exchanges. (AU)
