Abstract The following research consists of the documentation and analysis of Cristiane Paoli Quito's clown training process, covering her methodology, concepts and influences. Quito's pedagogy, concerning the work with clowns, will be analysed from the point of view of the clowns that have gone through her training, in addition to the researcher's experimentation, and direct contact with the artist.
