Abstract The following project in the field of High Energy Physics aims for the search for traces of correlation between likesign leptons produced from B_s meson and B_sbar antimeson decay, by the flavor oscillation phenomena. Such study has the potential to develop a way to filter proton-proton collision events in which there is the production of a bottom-antibottom pair from gluon fusion, with low background interference. Therefore, also improving selection and precision to generate energy loss modeling for heavy quark phenomena, favoring more accurate tests of pQCD and generating new data for the continuous theoretical development. | |
