Abstract

Contemporary society, constantly changing, shows the need for fast movements, correct solutions, products and services that represents itself. The creative Design Process for the generation of new products and services is based on research methods and results, and should develop innovation that seeks to achieve with the support of technical and technological knowledge of engineering. In this way, the creative process, which ranges from the identification of a new idea to its presentation as a final product shall be determined by a structured methodology. In this development there are several proposals, called " Design Process" who present themselves as methods of the creative process. Used by design, they are rooted in engineering where also the project works in stages from conception until final product. Based on references that indicate affinities, the purpose of this study is to initially make a comparative analysis of the methodological models of the "Design Process", applied by Design and engineering, and to elucidate the tangent and common points between them. Subsequently, the investigation should determine which concepts have been applied by the creative industry, and wich have been inserted in the environments of Science Parks and incubators, enhancing innovation. By identifying their actions, results and models, the project aims to propose ways to optimize their use and improve efficiency in generating innovation. Finally, it will update the approach of this methodology, to use it and apply it in Science Parks initiatives and extend it to Innovation Centers, Incubators and Accelerators, enterprises and institutions of interest and innovative capacity.
