Abstract

In June 2001 the agrarian counter-reform of market (CRAM) arrives at Pontal through an agreement between the UNIPONTAL, the Força Sindical , Conselho Regional de Desenvolvimento de Presidente Prudente and the Ministério do Desenvolvimento Agrário in agreement with the Banco da Terra. On this occasion were present not only mayors of the region, but also the representatives of the União Democrática Ruralista. In a context of intense territorial conflicts between peasants and landowners, the arrival of CRAM causes changes in the regional situation. This project aims to address the dynamics and processes of this neoliberal land policy territorialization in the Pontal, their impact in the struggle for land and land territorial development projects of the Banco da Terra and the Consolidação da Agricultura Familiar.
