The development of an organism is coordinated by complexes gene interactions networks compounded by several different molecules classes. In insects, the development is conducted by juvenile hormone and ecdysteroids (20E). These are the two major morphogenetic hormones directly involved in molting and metamorphosis. During larval stages, HJ levels stay high with juvenilizing action. When the larvae reaches specific size and age, titers of that hormone decrease in contrast to 20E levels (significant increase), in which presented periodic peaks in each larval molt. However little is known about these hormones action on genic cascades in specific moments of development, metamorphosis and adult emerging. In this study, we intend to investigate relationships between the following genes: ultraspiracle (Usp), fushi tarazu transcription factor 1 (ftz-f1), ecdysone receptor (EcR), calponin (chd64), insulin- receptor 2 (inr2) Krüppel homolog 1 (Kr-h1), germ-cell expressed (gce), early trypsin (et), and their regulators miRNA, miR-34, miR-281, miR-252a and miR252b, by means of next generation protocols. Consisting in, in silico analysis focused on gene annotation and aim prediction, followed by assemblage of an interaction network, in addition, report gene essays will be used to validate the predictions and differential gene expression. In particular, we will focus on pre-imaginal stage of female belonging to Apis mellifera species. Two new components (GCE and ET) is going to be added to the complex interaction network proposed by our laboratory, regarding the development of honeybees.
