Abstract

With recent studies of Positive Psychology, it became evident need and urgency to understand not only the mechanisms of disease, but also those linked to the well -being and human flourishing. The area has grown rapidly over the past decade, but many are still topics neglected. Gratitude is one of them. Considered by authors classics like the mother of all virtues, gratitude appears to play a crucial role in welfare, strengthening linkages and pro- social actions. However, most of the few works in the area address the issue of correlational form. Beyond addition, few studies that have investigated their neurobiological basis. Thus, this project aims to investigate the effect of gratitude in inequity aversion with the use of social decision tasks and electroencephalography. (AU)
