Abstract

Time series analysis are a good proxy to study the temporal trajectories of land cover change. Thus, the main goal of this project is testing the accuracy of new analysis techniques and data mining protocols developed by E-Science project for the Amazon deforestation monitoring. After the integration of analytic methods and validation in the field, is expected the developing of semi-authomatized method to detect new areas of deforestation and forest degradation. (AU)
