Abstract

With recent studies of Positive Psychology, it became evident need and urgency to understand not only the mechanisms of disease, but also those linked to the well -being and human flourishing. The area has grown rapidly over the past decade, but many are still topics neglected. Gratitude is one of them. Considered by classic authors as the mother of all virtues, gratitude appears to play a crucial role in welfare, strengthening linkages and pro- social actions. However, most of the few works in the area address this issue in a correlational way. In addition, few studies have investigated their neurobiological basis. Thus, this project aims to investigate the effect of gratitude on the perception of injustice with the use of social decision games and electroencephalography. (AU)
