Abstract

The development of synthetic methods for obtaining tin monoxide SnO is of great interest due to technological potential of this material. From the synthetic perspective, the favorable oxidation of Sn+2 to Sn +4 is the biggest problem to be overcome. This proposal sets in synthetic developments for the production of SnO by wet methods. Two strategies will be used to obtain the particles: hydrothermal condition and with the use of directing agents for texture control. With the particles will be made studies of adsorption with naphthalimide dyes and photooxidation tests.
