Abstract This doctoral dissertation seeks to investigate the contemporary Latin American scene through theatrics created in Latin America that merge artistic and social strands. The hypothesis which grounds this dissertation is that, in the Latin America context, generates creative proceedings that tend to make evident the crisis of representation, with in the arts as much as in politics. Is considered these practical as dissidents theatrics. Using a cartographic method this investigation will map determined praxis undertaken by artistic collectives Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol - La Democracia en México (México) e Núcleo Arte, Política y Comunidad - Comisión Ortúzar (Chile). These projects will be analyzed from three axes: as now, the yore and to come as a way to overlap temporally distinct processes of constructions macro and micropolitics in Latin America. The concepts that guide this study are in consonance with works relating to the dissidents theatrics, specially such as the ones made by Spanish researcher José Sánchez. | |
