Abstract

The process of foreignization of land in Paraguay is not recent, intensifying as from 2007/2008 and emerging different peculiarities in relation to other countries. Simultaneously to the increase of land appropriation in worldwide scale appear different researches and publications about the theme, without a consensus as regards of this process, because every researcher and multilateral/governmental institution define the elements of foreignization of land according to its intentionality. In this meaning, the general objective of this project is to analyze the process of foreignization of land in Paraguay through the definitions of different authors and institutions, overcoat of Santurnino M. Borras Jr., main reference in the theme, to comprehend the singularities of the country and to construct an appropriate definition of the affected reality.
