Abstract

The lignocellulosic raw material and the particulate panels when exposed to open and / or environments, humid, present a challenge as its durability due to biological and physical degradation, therefore, are vulnerable for application in rural. Given this obstacle, this project aims to promote the study of coverage using two types of film: latex and pitch panels in multi-residue particles of sugarcane reinforced with bamboo particles (PMBB) and evaluation their potential for alternative use in shelter for piglets. The project will be outlined in three stages: the first stage, the panels will be produced and waterproofed testing the coating of two films (pitch and latex). They will be evaluated two ways of applying films (brush and dip). physical, mechanical and aging tests will be done. In the second stage, will be studied the effect of nano silver particle in latex and films pitch as antimicrobial, microbiological testing will be done to determine their effect on bacteria. Since, the highest incidence of deaths in piglets is caused by diarrhea. In the third step will be evaluated as a potential use panel as shelter for piglets by evaluation of the micro climate of the shelter produced with PMBB panels, heated with incandescent lamp (AU)
